Common questions

What teams ask before they automate.

What is back-office automation for industrial companies?

It is software that does the repetitive record work behind making and moving goods: entering orders, matching invoices, setting reorder points, building schedules and checking drawings. People keep the decisions; the software does the gathering, checking and re-keying.

Does Faraday replace our ERP?

No. Faraday works on the records already in your ERP, such as Prophet 21, and writes approved changes back to it. Your ERP stays the system of record.

Do people still approve the work?

Yes. Every use case starts with Faraday recommending and a person approving. You decide which actions, if any, run without review, and every decision is recorded with its reason.

Which use case should we start with?

Start where manual work is highest and the records are cleanest. For distributors that is often inventory or order entry; for manufacturers, scheduling or quoting. A walkthrough on your own data is the quickest way to tell.

How do we measure the impact?

We measure the operational and P&L effect of each workflow on your records before it goes into production, so you see the change in hours, stock or margin before you commit.

What data do you need to get started?

A read-only connection to your ERP is enough to begin. Each guide lists the specific records that use case reads, such as item master, open orders or invoices.

We connect read-only to your ERP and walk through one workflow with your team.
